Document Description
The project involves certain improvements to the treatment plant, construction of a 35 mile long buried transmission pipeline which can supply a constant 11 mgd of reclaimed water from Delta Pond to the Geysers steamfield for recharge via a network of distribution pipes in injection wells. Four high-pressure pump stations will lift the water in steps up to the geysers. Some of the remaining flow of wastewater from the subregional system will be used to supply the existing irrigation system in the Santa Rosa Plain and some will be discharged through the existing discharge system at a rate that will not exceed 5 percent of Russian River flows.
