Document Description
Fill a portion of the channel located west of I-880 and south of Auto Mall Parkway. The portion of the channel within the Pacific Commons wildlife preserve to be filled with re-established biological and hyrdological connectivity between the Preserve, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Refuge and San Francisco Bay. Fences along the channel will be removed, existing gravel roads will be pushed into the channel, and then the channel will be topped off with native fill. Existing storm drain outfall pipes that enter the channel will also be removed and backfilled.
