Document Description
The City of Oakland is proposing to designate a new redevelopment area to be known as the Central City East Redevelopment Area. The area includes a large portion of the central and eastern parts of the City of Oakland, beginning at Fallon Street at the southwest corner of Lake Merritt in the Downtown area and fanning out in a southeasterly direction, generally between the I-880 Freeway on the west, and Foothill and MacArthur Boulevards on the east. The southeastern boundary would be the northern edge of the Coliseum Redevelopment Area.
