Conduct test activities of the Airborne Laser System at test ranges associated with Kortland AFB and White Sands Missile Range/Holbman AFB, New Mexico, and Edwards AFB and Vandenberg AFB, California. Test activities would involve testing the laser components on the ground and in flight. Ground tests are proposed at Edwards AFB. Flight tests are proposed at the R-2508 airspace complex (Edwards AFB), Western Range (Vandenberg AFB), and White Sand Missile Range.
