The proposed project consists of the construction and operation of a new dairy that includes the following features: Dairy facilities consisting of all new structures constructed mainly of concrete and steel, including a milk house, parlor and holding/sprinkler pen, three freestall barns, four open hospital pens, six heifer pens with shade structures, a silage slab and commodity barn, one main wastewater storage pond and two settling ponds on 20 acres of a 129.5+\- acre site. A herd of approximately 1,144 total animals will be housed. Processing will be at an off-site creamery.
