            The proposed project is a new Container Terminal for the China Shopping Lines at Berths 97-109.  Key elements of the proposed project include new wharves, dredging, backlands development (142 acres), terminal buildings, improvements to the terminal entrance, bridges connecting Berths 97-109 with Berths 121-131, and the temporary relocation of the Catalina Express terminal to the south of the Vincent Thomas Bridge (at Berths 95 and 93D).
