                Document Description

Current General Plan policies permit, under certain circumstances, the creation of 20-acre minimum parcels as a density bonus to the otherwise applicable 100-acre minimum parcel size. This density bonus is conditioned on a number of specific requirements, including the requirement that new 20-acre parcels be used for cultivated agriculture, that there is an adequate supply of water to support cultivated agriculture, and that cultivation and irrigation will not cause significant environmental impacts.
