                Document Description

This project proposes treatments to existing sections of levee along the Sacramento River east bank in the Pocket and Little Pocket areas, south of downtown Sacramento. The treatments include construction of an under-seepage cut-off wall to supplement an existing shallow through-seepage barrier, as well as construction of passive relief wells and monitoring wells. Please refer to the initial study for more detailed description of the project purpose, location, proposed construction methods, schedule, and environmental effects.
