            The proposed project consists of acquisition of a vacant parcel of agricultural land which is adjacent to fairgrounds property.  The vacant parcel is approximately 20 acres in size, with no tenants legal or illegally on the property.  Acquisition of this property will have minimal impact on the department's operation and maintenance costs: any costs will be absorbed in the existing budget.
