Document Description
Under an emergency limited bid process, Caltrans Maintenance will replace several concrete (PCC) slabs overlaid with asphalt (AC) that are currently failing. The existing AC and underlying PCC slabs will be removed and replaced with full-depth AC. All work will remain within the hinge points. The following areas may be used for staging, parking, and stockpiling the median from PM 11.17/12.75; NB pullouts at PM 15.2 (Bottom of Summit Dr. off-ramp) and PM 16.94; and SB pullouts at pm 12.7 and 17.05. Approved disposal sites are Sis 97 4.9 and SIS 89 32.9 will be used to dispose of excess material.
