670-megawatt (nominal) natural gas-fired power plant, consisting of two combustion turbine-generators equipped with dry low NOx combusters, two heat recovery steam generators equipped with duct burners, selective catalyst reduction (SCR) and oxidation catalyst emission control systems, a steam turbine-generator, associated auxiliary systems and equipment, and a new 500kV switchyard and transmission line ot interconnect with an existing electric transmission line located 0.9 miles to the east of the project site.
