Document Description
The proposed GPA project would modernize the GP goal and policy framework to comply with state and federal law, and result in a revised land use diagram and supporting policies intended to facilitate enhanced economic development and promote infill development. New and changed LUD are proposed. Regarding the circulation element, the GPA would identify priority locations for infrastructure projects, and establish stronger links among funding policies, programs and sources. Transportation corridors are a primary focus of the project, in terms of enhanced economic development potential, including mixed-use development, improved travel mode choice options and safety.
