Document Description
The project is a Major Grading Plan to correct a grading violation and water course violation. Earthwork will consist of the (forensically) balanced cut and fill of 224,000 cubic yards, with no import or export. The project includes an elevated, relatively flat, graded area approximately 100 feet wide by 4,650 feet long. Three sedimentation basins are proposed on the South side of the property as a mitigation measure to control erosion and sediment transport. The project site is located at 1664 Jewel Valley Road in the Mountain Empire Subregional Plan within unincorporated San Diego County. The site is subject to the General Plan Rural Lands Regional Category, Rural Lands 80 (RL-80) Land Use Designation. Zoning for the site is S92 (General Rural). Access would be provided by a private drive connecting to Jewell Valley Road.
