Document Description
Replace the outlet pipe and slide gate valve at the Lake llsanjo Dam in Trione-Annadel State Park to ensure the ability to release water on an as needed basis. Work will:
• Over a period of weeks, slowly lower the lake water level 5 to 10 feet;
• Replace the existing sliding gate valve on the lake side of the dam with a new valve of the same model;
• Install a new 12-inch secondary gate valve on the downstream face of the dam;
• Replace and install a new approximately 20-foot long, 12-inch diameter, steel pipe anchored with straps, saddles, stakes, and/or soil;
• Replace/install rip-rap at the pipe outlet for use as an energy dissipator; and
• Use a liquid urethane coating (or egual) to seal cracks in the gunite surface of the dam face.
