- DWR and the US Army Corps of Engineers proposes to construct a shallow water habitat restoration project on Prospect Island in the northwestern part of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta in Solano County. Project construction will involve the creation of long sinuous interior islands, channels and dead-end sloughs, and interior levee benches. Native wildlife and fish are expected to benefit from the project.
