Ventura River Bank Protection Upgrade Project

Description

The project includes improvements to the existing Ventura River levee to provide the residents of Casitas Springs with flood protection during a 100-year storm event. Improvements include: adding earthen fill to raise the levee, construction of a floodwall adjacent to a mobile home park, construction of a lateral levee in an upland area at the north end of the project, construction of two storm culverts through the existing Ventura River levee, and relocating a portion of the Ojai Valley trail.
