- Description
- A special permit is required for the drilling of a new natural gas well within the Tompkins Hill Gas Field. The new well will be drilled from the existing permitted production pad known as Holmes-Eureka #31. The existing pad and field were permitted in 1977 (CUP-96-77). A requirement of the previous CUP was that all subsequent wells be permitted by Special Permit with full environmental review under CEQA. The subject parcel is +\-60 acres in size with +\- 50 natural gas wells in various stages of production. There are no developments on the parcel other than those structures directly related to the production of natural gas.
