Title: General Plan Update
Description: The General Plan Update includes a comprehensive set of goals, objectives, policies and implementation measures, as well as a revised Land Use Map and Circulation Diagram. The State requires that the General Plan contain seven mandatory elements: Land Use, Circulation, Housing, Open Space, Noise, Safety, and Conservation. The General Plan Update includes all of the State-mandated elements, as well as optional elements, including the Historic, Cultural, and Arts Element, Parks, Community Facilities, and Utilities Element. The Housing and Growth Management Elements have been adopted through a separate process. The General Plan Update does propose nor entitle any development projects.
