Title: Regional Wastewater Control Facility Modifications Project
Description: The City of Stockton proposes to implement the Regional Wastewater Control Facility (RWCF) Modifications Project to maintain compliance with the RWCF National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit, extend the useful life of existing facilities, improve working conditions for facility staff, and to implement components of the City's Capitol Improvement and Energy Management Plan (CIEMP). The proposed modifications would not expand treatment capacity. Modifications are proposed for the treatment processes and personnel facilities, including buildings and parking. Construction would begin in August 2019 and conclude in March 2023. Existing RWCF facilities would remain operational during construction to avoid interruption in wastewater treatment service. Staffing levels are not expected to increase.
