Title: Maintenance District No. 1 Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Project
Description: Madera County proposes to update and improve t he MD-1 WTP and drinking water system to meet applicable drinking water standards and address the Compliance Order for disinfection byproducts by adopting post-treatment chlorination. Improvements to the system would also increase the capacity of the WTP to meet peak demands, fire flows, and foreseeable future domestic water demand.
